Trade for Catcher

Postby Rbsurf » Tue Apr 21, 2009 6:29 am

I currently have John Buck as my catcher, and have been going back for forth with Y molina, buck, and Pierzynski with my C postion. I need a catcher...Manager needs saves..

Can I get B molina by sending Corpas??

I have Fuentes, Valverde, Rodney, VIllenuava, and Corpas...Vilinuava is almost done...

Another option is to do another trade before i do this...Like Prince(maybe Corpas) for Kemp and Krod..Or Prince for Doumit and Kemp..If i do the Doumit deal then i dont need to do the above...If i do the Krod then I can flip rodney and get Molina...

Help please

Prince and Corpas for Kemp and K-Rod makes sense . . . Prince for Kemp and Doumit is a reach . . . catchers are not very durable (I.E. Doumit's latest injury)
I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

Nobody on the WW...those that I mentioned were best available...

I just sent the Prince and Corpas for Krod and Kemp deal..If he takes I think I will be set with everything. have speed with my power...

That would leave me with Valverde, Fuentes, Rodney, and Krod...

I'd then flip Rodney for Molina and you would be set.

Prince and Corpas for Kemp and K-Rod :-)

I think the Prince/Corpas for Kemp/KRod is a good idea. However, I think either Yadier Molina or AJ Pierzynski would be servicable this year. Molina should provide a good average and Pierzynski should provide a decent average with some pop. Thanks for your help with mine.

good thing i didnt ask for doumit...still waiting for response for Corpas/fielder for kemp/krod...

I know they are serviceable and i have a good enough offense to not need a hot shot catcher, but i would be nice.

I personally think Molina is in a better position than Doumit with the injury now. Especially when Molina is batting cleanup.
