Should I accept? Beltre is off to a slow start, and i think hes still going to get 25+ homeruns .280+ average and 95+ RBIS, so he's being sold low. DeRosa is a great three position player who can get a lot of runs and solid stats all around batting between Sizemore and Martinez. On top of it all, i get an Ace. What do you think?
You may need some better batters in return. What is his team . . . Shields would be nice to get in the deal, and DeRosa helps too. I'm leary on Beltre, altough he is in a contract year, and could go off at any minute. Pujols is the #1 fantasy batter in my mind . . . so hold tight for the moment.
Yeah, definitely don't make this trade. If you're dealing Pujols you should aim for two players in the top 25 in return....not a bunch of guys drafted in the middle rounds.

I agree with that... Accept do a little numbers crunching.
Pujols is one guy who will hit 330, 120, 40, 140.
Beltre and DeRosa represent 2 guys who COLLECTIVELY may hit 280, 170, 60, 190. So the two together have better overall numbers then Pujols himself. Plus, you're getting Shields.
However, you will have to drop 2 guys... so subtract those potential numbers and tehn figure out if teh potential COLLECTIVE numbers add up to teh numbers Pujols will give you on his own.
you can't live the dream, if you don't play the game
