Interesting 3-way keeper trade!! WHIR

Postby pre1322 » Tue Apr 21, 2009 1:20 am

10-team H2H 8 keeper league (I know 10 teams is small...it's a friends league and I always thought what people say is overexaggerated until I actually tried it...).

Scoring Categories: 6x6 with HLDs and OPS.

I give: Chris Davis, Chris Iannetta, Adam Wainwright
I get: CC Sabathia, AJ Burnett, Matt Lindstrom

Both Iannetta and Davis are rotting on my bench behind Votto (prefer Votto to Davis), ARam and Doumit. Other guy is one of those guys who cornered pitching and right now has empty roster spots at 3B and C, so he's already said he's willing to pay to fill the holes.

I then have a deal agreed to contingent upon the first:

I get Brian Roberts and Mike Napoli
I give Burnett and Lindstrom

SUMMARY:
I get Sabathia, Roberts and Napoli
I give Davis, Iannetta and Wainwright

Here's my team for reference:
C: Doumit
1B: Votto
2B: Mark DeRosa
3B: Aramis Ramirez
SS: Jimmy Rollins
OF: Ryan Braun
OF: Carlos Lee
OF: Matt Kemp
UTIL: Nick Markakis
BN: Davis, Iannetta

SP: Zack Greinke
SP: Francisco Liriano
SP: James Shields
RP: Jonathan Broxton
RP: Heath Bell
P: Francisco Cordero
P: Scot Shields
BN: Hong Chih Kuo, Yovani Gallardo, Adam Wainwirght

Opinions?? Thanks, leave a link and I will help out for sure ;-D

I really like it ... definitely do the first deal.

As for the second, I lean yes because of Roberts and Napoli will heat up and be a power source. Burnett is doing well, but the WHIP will be tough, so it's a good time to consider the sell high.

help me?

I prefer Iannetta/Davis/Wainwright in a keeper. Lindstrom is iffy, and AJ looks good, but he's no better then Wainwright to me.

I love the first one for you. Trading away some bench and get CC? Tight. The other players are just bonus. As for the second trade, I don't like it so much. I'd just sit on your team after the first trade and see what happens, then make another move if you have to.
