What is a fair offer for Chipper or M. Young?

Postby WabashMasher » Tue Apr 21, 2009 12:22 am

I'm looking to upgrade at 3B, and want to make a fair offer for either Chipper Jones or Michael Young. Both are on the same team (Young has SS Eligibility). I'd like to offer one of my RPs plus someone else, but he has Nathan and Soria and you can only start 2 at a time. His two weaker SPs are Garza and Kazmir, and I think I can offer a SP to get one of them.

Question is, which should I target and who should I offer? I definitely have too many pitchers for this type of league, as rosters lock for the week on Monday. Help please!

10 Team, H2H Mixed League

C: Napoli
1B: Howard
2B: Utley
3B: Reynolds
SS: Reyes
OF: Manny / Dunn / Hart
Util: Pena
BN: Werth / Hawpe
SP: Hamels / Oswalt / Harden / Bedard / Wainwright / Millwood
RP: Jenks / Fuentes / Gregg

garza and kazmir arent exactly the weakest pitchers, why dont you post up his roster too so we can compare and fit the pieces of a trade together

See if he bites on Harden. If he's a risk-taker it might work. I'd go for Young though. Less power (but you aren't hurting there), but he's hitting behind Kinsler, which helps a lot.

He's probably got the most stacked team in the league. Which is why he's in first place.

C: Pudge
1B: Pujols
2B: Kelly Johnson
3B: Chipper
SS: Young
OF: Beltran / Ibanez / Drew
Util: Votto

SP: Halladay / Beckett / Garza / Kazmir
RP: Nathan / Soria
