Is this a vetoable trade?

Postby Eightan » Mon Apr 20, 2009 10:58 pm

The trade is Big Papi for Huff.

I looked at both teams and the team trading Ortiz has a weak 3b, so he obviosly wants to stick Huff there, and the team trading Huff has Beltre to slide in at 3b and will stick Ortiz in the DH spot instead of Orlando Hudson.

I'm not so sure about the trade but I'm not sure I should veto it either. What do you all think? Appreciate any help you can offer....

If there is no collusion I don't veto. Watch out for future trades though. If you see these 2 teams in another questionable trade you'd have to think more about the veto.

Its not exactly world-beating, I don't see how you can veto it. Ortiz is showing signs of breaking out of early season slump. Huff isn't guarenteed to repeat last year's numbers. IMO there's no way you can veto this. 8-o

Why is this even a question?

There is not even a remote chance that this is a vetoable trade, unless the owners admitted to you that they are trying to pull a fast one.

Both teams are trying to improve their team. Let them manage their own clubs and worry about improving yours.
