No, I think this is a fair offer. Dempster won't replicate last year's numbers and although I really like McLouth I think he is worth giving up to get Peavy.

I think its a good trade for you. I don't think either McClouth or Dempster will repeat their 2008 performances. Peavy's a beast and if the Pad's tank and he gets traded to a contender, you can expect more W's from him.

As an owner of both Mclouth and Demp I have actually offered up those two for Peavy but it was rejected. I think its a fair offer, Mclouth has impressed me so far. He just hit a three jack as I am typing this. Its a solid offer especially if you can unload Demp.
