Looking to add some starting pitching and wondering what moves I should make. 10 teams, H2H, yahoo league. 6x6.
Pitchers I own that I'm considering dropping:
Chien-Ming Wang
Fausto Carmona
Zach Duke
Pitchers I'm thinking of adding:
John Smoltz
Glen Perkins
Edwin Jackson
Ricky Romero
Jonothan Sanchez
Jordan Zimmerman

In order I would add:
Edwin Jackson
Glen Perkins
John Smoltz
Ricky Romero
Jonothan Sanchez
Jordan Zimmerman
...and drop all three of the ones you mentioned. Wang is looking very shakey and really isn't good for more than wins on the Yanks (no K's and ERA over 4.00 in good years), Carmona is too inconsistant, and Duke is a bum on a Triple A team. I would take the upside of any of these other guys!!!

I think any of Perkins, Jackson or Romero would be a good addition. Especially Romero... he has the pedigree, and he's even drawn Johan Santana comparisons (from A's players)...

premature much?

Drop Wang. Pick up Smoltz and put him on DL if you have one. Then pick up Perkins or Romero.
good luck

It's easy to drop Wang now. I'd 1st pick up Smoltz and stash him on the DL (all news of his recovery so far is good). Carmona is pretty droppable too. I don't think I have strong feelings about one of those young FA arms over the others. Jackson, Perkins, Romero, Zimmerman ... all are worth taking a shot on over Wang. Try one (or two) out and see how it goes.
Help in return?
