John Dickerson over at Slate is having a
contest on the best write-up definition of baseball in 150 words or less (he's been trying to explain the game to his 6-year-old son but his son loses attention).
Maybe some Cafe'ers could give it a try.
0-3 to 4-3. Worst choke in the history of baseball. Enough said.

Sounds difficult. Any definition would have to leave plenty of things out to stay in the 150 word limit and if it's too detailed a 6-year-old wouldn't be able to follow it.
I might try it if I have some time tonight, but I'd have to put some thought into it. Right now I'm not even sure of a good way to start it off.
