h2h pitching strategy

Postby kickureface » Sun Apr 19, 2009 8:49 pm

in h2h many like to stack RP's and take saves, era and whip. then they either stream or leave the W/K alone and win 3/5.

how many RP's for this strategy though? given a standard yahoo league, u can start 2sp, 2rp and 3P. so would you have 5 RP's and always start them and fill ur bench with 4-5 more SP's / stream?

also, for picking up SP, what are the most important factors? so far i've thought of
1. home or away
2. opponent's hitting %
don't know what else. should i consider weather?

for grabbing/replacing RPs, what should come in to factor since they are so different from SP?
