Josh Johnson, Greinke, Nolasco or Liriano

Postby John2K » Sun Apr 19, 2009 6:26 pm

Hey guys,

I'v got Nolasco and Liriano on my pitching stuff. I'll be able to make a move on any player not drafted in my league on monday. Both Josh Johnson and KC's Greinke happen to be available.

Nolasco has been a bit of a dissapointment for me thus far. I'm sure he will turn it around and put up good numbers. Same thing with Liriano with 3 losses but his last start has been good.

Greinke is on fire right now, obviously. Same goes for Johnson, though his start this weekend wasn't that great.

Thing is if I drop Nolasco or Liriano, I'm pretty sure no one else would pick them up so if Johnson or Greinke wouldn't work out, I could always go back to whoever I dropped in 2 weeks and pick them back up.

So, should I drop one of my starters and go for Greinke or Johnson? If so, who should I drop and who should I pick up.

Point system for pitching in my league is:
Out +1 pt
K +1 pt
win +5 pt
quality start +5 pt
complete game +10 pt
hit -1 pt
ER -2 pt
BB -1 pt

Thanks for your help!

Edit: Oh I forgot, Erik Bedard is available as well.

Hey,

it's not a regular fantasy league, more light a "light version". Lot's of participants don't know much about baseball so there are a lot of good players left. It's my first taste of fantasy baseball so I apologize if my explanations aren't that good.

It's 16 teams, 8 players each team. 5 position players, 2 starting pitchers and 1 closer. Each team faces one other team during the week. All the points the players accumilate get added up at the end of the week and thus the winner is decided.

It will take some patience, but I like Nolasco and Liriano more than those options. I would, however, consider dropping someone else for one of those guys, as they are looking to have strong campaigns ahead.

help me?
