If I do drop Ianetta I need to pick up another catcher in the free agent market. These are my best catcher options: John Buck, Yadier Molina, John Baker

should I ride through this slump of his?

You have to give him at least a month-month and a half. Some of these guys are just slow starters. Plus, none of your FA options are that great.

I benched Ianetta and picked up John Baker. Baker looks pretty good and gets on base plus he bats 2nd in that explosive marlins line up. If you have room to stash Ianetta, pick up Baker then drop another player. I am waiting for Ianetta to heat up before I attempt to trade him.

If Ianetta heats up why would you trade him? if he doesn't heat up how can you trade him?
