The deal definately gives you more homers, as Dunn and Prince will hit similar totals, but Hamilton is a step up over Craw. Do you think you can lose the SB Craw brings, because I think you're risking a steady closer....and going with two shakey ones as part of this deal. I think Mo is a lock for 40+ with this team.

I lose a great closer, but I am pretty quick on the waiver when somebody gets hurt or loses the job as closer. So, I will be able to get some cheap saves.

I really don't think the other guy would accept that proposed deal..

Crawford versus Prince is relatively close in value.. but then there's a huge discrepancy between Hamilton versus Dunn, which guys like Rivera and Slowey won't make up for, especially considering your getting Joba and Hawpe in return.

I like this deal for you a lot, but I don't think would ever get this deal accepted in any of my leagues. You may have to start to look for a different way to get some value off his team.

Maybe you can post both rosters so you can get help looking for other plausable offers.

Thanks for the help.

I added C. Guillen to the deal and asked him to add Aardsma to the deal.

not trying to be a jerk but if someone offered me that deal in my league I would decline, not counter, and not trade with you for the season.

This is how I look at it:

Prince and Dunn are pretty much even.

Hamiliton is better than Crawford in two cats.

Mo and Slowey for Hawpe and Joba, that is pretty much a wash right there.

Bottom line is, he gets help in saves and SBs, which he needs. I get help in power.

I can afford to lose the steals, I still have Hanley, Hunter, and Roberts. So that doesn't kill me. Also, I hate to lose Mo, but I can roll with two decent closers and hit the waiver wire/FA pool for cheap saves through out the season.
