I am really getting tired of Alexei Ramirez. The way he is playing, im not too sure he is putting up better numbers than I would myself out there. Should I trade him straight up for Cano? Cano could be in for a huge year, and I dont mind giving up the potential upside of Alexei because he is just killing me at the moment. Id hate to give up a higher draft pick for a lower draft pick, but at this point i dont think i care... Any help? whir
The only category I see Cano outproducing Alexei in is batting avg. The season is only 2 weeks old. Selling a high draft for less then face value at this point would be a panic move.

Cano struggled just as much at the start of last season. I'm just saying...
personally I would prefer Cano over Alexei, but if I had Alexei I wouldnt trade him now, let him heat up and then shop him. But I cant blame you for dealing him for Cano, I think he is in for a huge season.

Yea exactly, and he had a horrible YEAR. Thats why people think he may "bounceback." I have heard Alexei isnt good at playing in the cold, but I think he was just in Tampa and still sucked... I will give him some more time and see if he can do anything, but at this point that little bastard is on thin ice.
Put a little more faith in your preseason rankings. Even if you didn't like him, someone in your league probably did. Once he heats up for a week or two, than you can get a trade in that is closer to his actual value. Honestly, he'll just outproduce Cano come September. Unless they pull a Milledge on him, he won't be hitting 8th for long.
