Which one would you do?

Postby plainyogurt » Sun Apr 19, 2009 1:37 am

After taking in some advice here, and thinking about it, I decided to keep my core offense together...So i figured that I still need SP help, so Thought of these 3 offers..Although Fielder is a core player I would get good in return..Take a look..Do these offers sound good for my team and fair to send?

Send Adam Laroche, Get Dempster or Bedard.
Send Laroche and Tulo for Above SP and Vmart
Send Fielder and Polanco for Above SP and Vmart

I have Y molina as catcher, and Tulo, Hill, Polanco, Cabrera, and Ramirez at Mi positions.

Thanks

The other SP's he has are Floyd, Verlander, and Johan..Lackey and Smoltz on his DL, but I need a SP who can give me stats now..

I dont think he would do Laroche and Tulo for Johan

Can't imagine Fielder and Tulo for Johan and Vmart would be enough

I would rather trade Laroche straight up but I need a catcher too..

Laroche and Tulo for SP and Vmart is good I think..

But which SP?

Bedard should be the SP you target.

I think you are holding LaRoche's value a little high. He definitely wont do Laroche and tulo for johan. Laroche for either pitcher is most likely a no go either. You would have to up the ante on your part, at least in my opinion....unfortunately for you, bedard's recent string of performances have really driven up his price. Even with the loss today, he has shown his old form (high Ks/Low walks). Even with dempster, i dotn think laroche is enough, but you'd proably have a better chance. Polanco's value isn't that high either. do you have any other players to add to the mix?

Tulo, Hill, Polanco, Cabrera, and Alexie Ramirez at Mi positions.

Dont want to trade Fielder, but if he and one of the above land me SP and Vmart I would..

But I would rather start bidding with Laroche(25 Hr 85 RBI??) and a MI..

just so you know, he usually goes on a very slow start. terrible april and may. so selling him now is not going to net you much. Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to try, perhaps he'll take the whole year into account. GL.
