My current position sucks as I lost Carpenter and Vlad to the DL I am scrambling to make up for saves as it is. Should I trade Fielder for a closer? Im thinking of going right to the top and asking for Paplebon, Nathan, or KRod. Or should I go after a SP? Franklin, Corpas, Percival, and Downs are FA in our league.

I wouldnt trade Fielder for all three of those guys. Closer come and go...and someone always pops out of nowehere for 35 saves. There are guys like Heath Bell (well, no more), Rodney, Percial, etc....that may be on your waiver wire. I would explore that route first. Otherwise, trade Prince and have the guy throw in a closer with a much better position player....for example, Loney/Krod for Prince/your closer.

I agree with the rest for the most part... Find a way to add corpas, and then if you still feel the need to deal prince for a closer, make sure its prince for slightly lesser 1b + closer.
