Did I miss an announcement about a crackdown on behavior this year? I have 2 guys on my team already who have received questionable suspensions this year. Beckett... maybe he did throw at the guy's head, but the on field crew didnt think so. They wouldnt have even warned him if the benches hadn't cleared. Milton Bradley.. a two game suspension because some anal retentive league employee went back and decided his cap slightly grazed the officials cap? (Mind you, he does have behavior issues, but that seems excessive...).
So did I miss something about a no tolerance policy or something... or is someone in the office just enjoying swinging his suspension stick at every opportunity?

They both deserved what they got. 98 MPH fastballs at someones head and pulling a Bradley on a umpire should result in suspensions and fines.
Here's the pitch on the way, a swing and a belt! Left field! Way back! BLUE JAYS WIN!

You should be thankful that Milton didn't tear his ACL whilst arguing with the ump.

6 games I thought was a little harsh especially since no punches were thrown. Plus Beckett wasnt even thrown out of the game.
At first I thought Miltons was harsh, just for getting tossed, but then I read he made contact with the ump and realized 2 games wasnt harsh at all.
Beckett should get his reduced after the appeal

The Beckett suspension is silly but the Bradley one is right on target. Beckett threw a ball seconds after a call of time out and it happened to go near someone, this kind of thing happens all the darn time.
Bradley bumped an ump after a questionable but not terrible strike 3, that is the type of pitch Marmol gets called a strike 90% of the time since he has the biggest strike zone in baseball for some reason. If anything Bradley should have gotten 4 or 5 days for that.
