How To Revive My Pitching Staff *WHIR*

Postby stickkeys108 » Sat Apr 18, 2009 5:29 pm

To this point in the young season, my offense has carried my team. Pitching on the other hand, ranks in the bottom two in every category.

ERA: 6.25
WHIP: 1.45
W: 1 (Derek Lowe on opening night)
SV: 4
K: 67

Here's my staff:

SP Dan Haren (Gotten one run of support in 3 starts)
SP Derek Lowe (Only guy with a win)
RP Jose Valverde (Blew his only save opp)
RP Manny Corpas (Held on to him thinking Street would blow it)
P Jon Lester (Struggled through 2 starts)
P Fernando Rodney (Never thought I'd say he's been the best pitcher on my staff. Knock on wood)
P Brian Wilson (Converted only save opp)
BN Ubaldo Jimenez (Just picked him up with the intention to stream him)
BN Huston Street (Handcuff)
BN John Lackey (DL)
DL John Smoltz

And I've dropped Chien-Ming Wang today after his abysmal three starts. I want no part of him. That said, how do I save my staff?
