How high is this guys ceiling? I think Tillman is going to be very good.
If he reaches his ceiling I see him as a #2.
Any lefty with solid command and a 95mph fastball has an ace ceiling. With that said #2 is probably more reasonable, especially pitching in Arlington.
he also has a pretty sweet changeup. his slider is ok but not great

I don't think there's any question that Holland is being rushed. He'll come up and take his lumps but I suppose that the experience will do him good in the long run. Don't expect much this year but I do like him to settle in long term as a good number 2 guy behind Feliz.

Finally made his first appearance.
2.1 innings, 3 singles, 2 strikeouts, 0 walks.
Over 94 mph average fastball with good movement, hit 97.
Looked real good.

Sell fast, sell high, this is a nightmare scenario for a young pitcher.

I regret dropping him because I would have been able to package him in a buy low for Verlander before he has to pitch in Arlington.

How can you sell high on him, he doesnt have value yet... anyone who has him should be waiting for him to be in the rotation.
heres a debut scouting report

It was a general comment, if Holland comes out and say strikes out 12 in his first game I trade him that day.

not sure anybody is dumb enough to buy high on him if that were to happen. His first start and strikes out 12 thinking he will keep it up and not struggle as just about every rookie pitcher?

If he is worth having on your roster then he should be worth having on other teams rosters and you can trade him~. Do a 2 for 2 deal with him thrown in or something.

Kris Benson had just been placed on the DL. Though it still doesn't look like Holland will take his spot...
