Most years this would be an instant accept as Ortiz usually >>> Atkins, but this year Ortiz seems quite off, and is already hurting me in another one of my leagues so... tough decision whether to pull the trigger or not atm.

Honestly,
I think Ortiz might be done...and I am in no way a big fan of Atkins. Ortiz looks old and slow and no longer has Manny in the lineup with him. Its close, but I like Atkins position versatility and ballpark more.

I like Atkins a bit more too. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ortiz blow up at some point, but I don't think he looks even close to what he did, 2 years ago. Keep Atkins.

I think it's close. I'd favor Atkins since he's not coming off an injury, plays in a better hitters park, and has multiple position eligibility.

I agree. I have said all off season and now that we may have seen the best Ortiz has to offer. I'm sure he will still have some good games and the Ortiz owners will come out and boost how good he still is. I'm not buying it. It really dosen't have much to do with manny either. Bay is no bum. I think he is going south fast.
