Iannetta Just Dumped. Drop Posada? Use #4 waiver? WHIR!

Just as the topic says - someone dropped Iannetta. Do I drop Posada for him? If so, do I do so before he clears waivers and try to use my #4 priority, or wait and see if he clears? 12 team yahoo league, roster and cats listed below. Also, we have a 25 transaction cap, and I've made one move.

I would use the waiver on Iannetta. If I remember right, he started out slow last year as well. Give him time, he'll come around.

i prefer posada over iannetta, and iannetta is def not worth a wavier right now....jddrew is droppable but to u really want to waste a transaction on iannetta since u have posada?

Ianetta is toxic right now. One hit for the year. Can't imagine any other owners picking him up. Don't use waiver for him, just pick him up as a FA.

Agreed. You'll be able to upgrade your catcher post-waiver.

The danger he is that this is more 2007 Iannetta than 2008. At least this way, you've still got your high waiver in case it doesn't work out.
