WHIR: Hanley for Tex...And others...

Postby Richie Rich » Fri Apr 17, 2009 9:02 pm

I give: Hanley, Lind, and Rodney
I get: Big Tex, Stephen Drew, Werth, and Konerko

I think this drastically improves my offense...Even if Lind keeps it up, I think he and Werth will be similar...I still like Werth more...Then I get Tex and Drew for Hanley which seems really nice...And the original deal was actually me giving Rodney for Konerko...So it escalated to this...Thoughts? I think it's too good to be true...Pull the trigger??

My current lineup: (12 team non-keeper H2H...hr, h, r, sb, avg, obp, tb, rbi and w, l, sv, hld, k, era, whip, k/9)

C: 1B:morneau 2B:aviles 3B:f lopez SS:hanley OF:crawford OF:holliday OF:kemp U:hunter U:lind B:guillen B: span
SP felix billingsley shields verlander dempster
RP f cordero capps francisco gregg rodney
DL lackey escobar

EDIT:

A little tweak, I had to drop Span in another move, so now I am dropping Carlos Guillen...But I also "offered" Guillen to the guy to kinda sweeten the deal since i'd just be cutting bait w/ him anyways unless i can pull a 2 for 1 today lol :-L

So the deal ultimately becomes:

I give: Hanley, Lind, Guillen, Rodney
I get: Tex, Werth, Drew, Konerko

I like the deal..Just missing out on steals..Your team will be good without it? Does improve your offense..Lind and werth will put similar numbers..and konerkos 20-25 homers...then tex...

Good deal

I'd do this. It will help your team out alot imo and it's not like you would be stuck with a WW SS instead.

I like that deal for you. I agree it definitely increases your offense. Not sure Rodney will have the closer role all year in Detroit. I'd take the plunge and deal Hanley in this case.

I like this deal for you, but it also depends on who you would be dropping. Also I might not do this deal if it was a keeper league...

Absolutely -- do this trade, and do it immediately! This looks like just the transaction you need to balance your team completely. Congratulations on attracting such a favorable deal!

And thanks for the help with mine! ;-D
