Bob Melvin (who should've been fired after last year's collapse) pulls Haren after 79 pitches (6.0 IP, 1 ER, 6 K, 0 BB) for pinch hitter Tony Clark (who's batting .214 this season and has finished a season north of .250 only once in the last 8 years). Haren hit .211 last year. At least Melvin brought in Juan "career ERA 5.96" to pitch the 7th. What a wonderful trade-off.

Saturday Game:
Lincecum back to his old self, Giants offense back to theirs - why didn't I start Davis?

Haren: one of the most under rated SPs in the game. I wish I would have went the extra round and grabbed this guy. Monstrous season on the way, IMO.
