Hah, this is ridiculous.

The Yankees are funny. Well at least the fans can get some more $11 beer.

Ugh. I saw that Wang was dropped in my league last week. I didn't feel he was worth claiming off waivers so I didn't use my rank on him. Then I saw that he cleared without anyone picking him up, so I got him as a free agent. WHY OH WHY DID I START HIM? The smart thing to do would have been to wait until he got one good start under his belt...but no, I had to be greedy and start him immediately. I've just gone from 2nd to 7th in ERA in my 10 team roto league.

Even if Lincecum pitches a gem for me it's not going to balance out that atrocious start by Wang.

No bench in the league I've got him in. :~(

That whole team of mine is infected though:

With Wang's putrid 34.50 ERA in a roto league

Webb - 13.50 ERA and on the DL
Lester - 9.00 ERA
Joba - 5.06 ERA
Jered Weaver - 3.09 ERA but a 1.54 WHIP!
Maine - 7.20 ERA
Sherrill - 6.23
Lidge - 4.50 ERA

Buehrle, and Kerry Wood have been ok, but my team ERA/WHIP coming into today was:

ERA - 7.14
WHIP - 1.67

And we've got no bench! :~(

He's a #5 starter when he's 'good.'

He's not worth a roster spot. He's a turd--flush him.

Actually, I've got 50 out of 60 possible points on the hitting side. If I don't dig too deep a hole on the pitching side and these guys (or I make a good pickup or two) get their heads together, it's far from over.

I'm just worried about digging the hole too deep. :-o
