Ichiro, Gallardo... Can I turn this down? ALL HELP RETURNED

Postby kaiser » Thu Apr 16, 2009 9:53 pm

H2H mixed keeper standard espn cats

I give Yovanni Gallardo and Nelson Cruz

I get Ichiro and Cory Hart

My other OF are Braun, Kemp, Soriano, Cameron, Dukes and Francouer.

My other SP are Billingsly, Lilly, Danks, and Javier Vasquez.

We keep four, and My keepers are Reyes, Utley, Braun and Wright, so this deal won't effect that.

I'm thinking I should take this. What do you think?

It is a tough choice because Cruz may be a bust at the end of it all, but the chance of him hitting 35-40 HR is so very tempting. I say take the trade, Ichiro is a proven OF with VERY good production that is guaranteed to happen barring any more injuries. Hart is pretty darn good himself.

I say make the trade.

i'd take it. you know what you're gonna get with ichiro, and your of turns very shaky after the top 3. hart moving into the 2 spot in the lineup will = more runs too. plus if you believe you need another starter after this, having a surplus of good of's never hurts in a deal.

I would do it but as the last poster said, I would look to turn it around and deal one of your surplus guys for a starter as you will need one after losing Gallardo making your staff a little weak.

please help

Sorry, I have to keep Cruz/Gallardo in a keeper. Ichiro is in the twilight of his career and is one leg injury away from being rendered pretty useless in fantasy. I just like to stay away from aging speed guys as you never know when they're going to go.

Gallardo has Lincecum type potential and I think Cruz is the real deal.

Not a huge fan of Hart personally.

Mine please if you can: viewtopic.php?t=379059

GUZMAN, do you stay with this even tho I wouldn't be keeping either Gallardo or Cruz? My 4 keepers are all top-15 guys (see above).

If you could keep Gallardo I wouldnt do it probably but since you already have 4 top keepers I would make the trade. Ichiro and Hart will be solid and I am not sold on Cruz yet.

Thoughts on mine please

I would stick with what you have, I agree with previous posts in that Ichiro is too risky because he may be on the downturn of his career.

Thanks guys, all help has been returned, except for Nittany, who left a bad link.

Anyone else with an opinion?
