Dropping Snell for Masterson?

ok so i am starting out as a new player in a keeper league that has been going on for about 5 years and the number of players kept increases each year starting with 6 and going up 1 each year so some teams have as many as 10 protects. I'm starting out fine but its a long season, and i also want to make sure that im setting up well for future seasons. What i was thinking of doing was dropping snell who has been decent but not stellar for Masterson but there is no guarantee that he will take the slot recently vacated by Daisuke Matsuzaka in the Boston Rotation.
