Emilio Bonifacio?

Postby Buzz317 » Thu Apr 16, 2009 7:02 pm

Is he the real deal or is this a good sell high? I give Hanrahan and Emilio I get Kerry Wood and Juan Pierre!
My closers are Valverde Fransisco and hanrahan. I really could use the closer help.

no way i'd do this. juan pierre has had 6 at bats. 6! it would be like you're trading bonifacio and hanrahan for wood only. pierre is obsolete. you're much better off with bonifacio.

help me out please: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=379052

hanrahan is close to the same value as wood. bonaficio is completely worthless, as is pierre.

it could help if you could post your entire roster.

value wise, i like Fuentes and Sandoval more than Bonifacio and Hanrahan. i would do that for sure.
Fuentes is better than Hanrahan and should get more saves for the Angels than Hanrahan will get for one of the worst teams in baseball.
Sandoval is better than Bonifacio. Sandoval will be playing 3B full time but has eligibility at C which is very valuable.

i would do that.

I think Sandoval and Fuentes is a pretty good haul for those two if you need saves. If he wants so bad I would try talking him up a little more and see what else you could get. Just mention his speed and that he's going to be beating out alot of infield hits or some BS like that. I would hurry too since he's cooling off a little.

Bonifacio i believe will slow down. Hell, he may not even start once he hits a steady 250 pace. Hes fast, but his pace will slow. As for the trade, i say yes if pierre isnt going to be used. Wood is a great pickup here

well, i was assuming he was in a 12 teamer, where bonifacio and pierre should not be in any starting lineup. maybe you are very high on pierre this year, or bonifacio, but there is little reason to have much faith in either.
