Should I trade Bonifacio for Harden? Harden is an injury risk, but Boni is an unknown. He has Berkman, Tex, Papelbon and Soria and I was trying to upgrade my 1B or RP with him. Any ideas?
16-team Fantasy point league so no need to worry about categories.
Hitting is much more valuable in this league, I think. But my SPs suck nonetheless.
2008 Best Hitter: Pujols - 555 pnts, top 50 are over 372 pnts, better than the 4th best SP 2008 Best SPs: Sabathia - 442 pnts, Halladay - 409, Lee - 385, Lincecum - 372, E. Santana - 344 2008 Best RPs: Rodriguez - 245 pnts (5 others above 200)
C: Posada 1B: A. Gonzalez 2B: Utley SS: Rollins 3B: A. Ramirez OF: Hamilton OF: Markakis OF: Abreu UTIL: Huff

Should not be owned? I disagree. You can obviously argue that Bonifacio will not keep this up, he won't, but batting at the top of the Marlins lineup he can potentially get 90+ runs and 30+ sbs. With 2B / 3B eligibility, he's at least a decent corner infielder.
Having said that I would ABSOLUTELY take Harden for him.
he won't keep the leadoff spot, batting .250 with a .305 OBP. he probably won't keep his job at all. could he get 30 SB if he played full time, sure. but bonifacio owners should just hope he loses his job asap, because he will be a big drag on your team in the meantime. if you can trade him for a guy like freddy sanchez, do it now before it is too late.

Here is the thing: If Emilio can swipe 40 this year, in a 16 team league, that is pretty f'n valuable. However, I would in this instance take Harden, hope for health, and also hope Bonifacio regresses back to his paltry .300 OBP.
