Carpenter for Soria

Postby DLim98 » Thu Apr 16, 2009 3:43 pm

I just proposed a trade, my Carpenter for Soria. I just wanted to get a feel for what people thought. If the other manager would think this is unfair for him?

LOL well considering Carpenter is hurt the other guy might feel it was a little one sided.

I know carpenter is hurt, but I figured if that carp could be stashed on the dl and be a nice pick up in the end. I mean he was pitching extremely well. Maybe too much wishful thinking on my part lol.

lol I commend you on the effort, but Soria is one of the best closers in baseball I doubt the other guy would do it, but hey, if he happened to do the trade you would make out like a bandit!

Go for a lesser closer, you might want to wait until Ervin Santana is about to come back and then deal him for a guy like Heath Bell.
