Who to drop out of Motte, C.Perez, Arredondo

Postby Maris09 » Thu Apr 16, 2009 2:15 pm

I was able to pull off a trade for Broxton, and now I need to drop one of my lesser relievers for another bat. No one's been biting on trade offers for these guys, so I'm trying to figure out who to drop.

H2H, regular 5x5 but with OPS & K/9 added

I really like Arredondo, and Fuentes has not looked great.
Motte and Perez together should give me a decent chance at the STL closer situation, but it's tough to hang onto both of them.

Tough call.

I'd drop Motte, he won't close again this year, guarantee it. Perez will be closing by May 1st. LaRussa has always liked 1 closer. Example: Dennis Eckersley and Jason Isringhausen.
I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

Franklin? Isn't he the current closer in STL? Still, if a redraft league, drop Motte.

Motte can go. Franklin and Perez look to be ahead of him now.

I think Motte is the one to drop here. He is moving down the line while the others look to be moving up.

Please help with mine
