i wouldnt be surprised to see him get a couple more starts there throughout the rest of the season.
He should get like 4 or 5 more starts max this season but I think he will take over at first most of the time.

Now that his arm is fully healed he'll be getting most of his starts at 3rd.

how many starts or appearances does he need to retain C eligibility for next yr for yahoo? he's already started 3 games at C.

I think yahoo is 5 so 2 more starts would do it

in that case, i think he'll retain it. 2 more is very doable.

I am loving his production from the C spot this year. If he retains eligibility next year, would you draft him as the 5th catcher after the 4M's? (Mauer, VMart, McCann, Martin) I can't see Posada, Iannetta, or Soto being taken higher, and Doumit/Bengie Molina/Posada are all very similar options.

I'd take him over Martin at this point. (Assuming he retains C eligibility)

you could be right but if Ish craps out again it would make more sense to play iribe there and pablo at first I dont really care he is playing very well just happy I have him.

HRs in back to back days after just crushing one in his last AB... to update my earlier table:

BB (non-INT):
April/March- 3 BB (80 PA)
May- 5 BB (100 PA)
June- 11 BB (94 PA)

HRs:
April/March- 1 HR (80 PA)
May- 2 HR (100 PA)
June- 8 HR (94 PA)

Overall June line is .402/.468/.793/1.261

and he's still 22 years old! the guy is an absolute beast.

EDIT: lol he just went deep again, chart updated.

I was a fool and drafted Wieters before Pablo in both cafe leagues I'm in even though I had Sandoval higher on my list. The hype got to me. Luckily in my money league I didn't make the same mistake.

Man he's playing awfully studly. His numbers are really trending up, and his increasing walk total is exciting.
