If this guy keeps it up catcher eligibility doesn't matter too much. Yeah it would be icing on the cake expecially in keeper leagues, but if he keeps this up he'll be a top 5 catcher going into next year. The crazy thing is he's still improving.

He'll be the #2 catcher maybe even #1 if he can just get 2 more games.

True, I guess it does matter if he gets Catcher eligible. My point is more about him being possibly becoming a top 3B, when people thought he would only be relevant if he has that Catcher eligibility.

Not only should Pablo be in the All-star game but he should probably be the starting 3B for the NL.
OPS:
Pablo- .954
Wright- .884
Zimmerman- .844

HR:
Pablo- 13
Zimmerman- 13
Wright- 5

RBI:
Pablo- 48
Zimmerman- 47
Wright- 42

BA:
Pablo- .333 (.362 BABIP)
Wright- .326 (.437 BABIP)
Zimmerman- .293 (.337 BABIP)

Zimmerman has been by far superior defensively while Wright has been the worst defensively of the three by a fair margin (using UZR). It's possible that Zimmerman's defense makes up enough for the offensive difference between him and Pablo, but it's pretty clear that David Wright should not be starting over either of them based on this year imo.

I think you are really underrating OBP here. Wright has 28 points on Sandoval and 53 points on Zimmerman. I'm not saying Wright should be starting but it is a lot closer than you make it out to be.

i just don't think the 28 points of OBP are enough to make up for the 98 points of SLG and the difference in defense.

HR #15 to the opposite field after he absolutely demolished #14 last night.

.334/.387/.583/.970

this guy is single-handedly carrying the Giants offense and i <3 him so so much.

All Star Game is a farsa.

Wright give Pablo his deserved spot and go rest yourself a few days.
