Who can I offer for a 3B? WHIR

Postby WabashMasher » Thu Apr 16, 2009 12:49 pm

Just traded away Huff and Bay for Ryan Howard. Now I'm super thin at 3B, relying on Bonifacio's hot start to at least carry through for a few more weeks. I'd rather get a more reliable guy at 3B though. Looking at my roster, what can I offer without taking too much of a hit elsewhere? Also of note, noob in my league dropped Brandon Phillips. My WW position is 10 (doh!) so I probably won't end up getting him, but Jeter is also out there. I'll have an empty roster spot so that could help a ton.

C - Napoli
1B - Howard
2B - Utley
3B - Bonifacio
SS - Reyes
OF - Manny/Dunn/Hart
Util - Pena
B - Werth/Hawpe

Harden, Hawpe or Werth. I think you could look to package them to get a 3b plus a pitche in return. I am not high up on Harden. Yes he is a good pitcher but it is only a matter of time before he ends up on the DL.

I would try packaging Harden/Hawpe or Harden/Werth.

By the way...what kind of idiot would drop Phillips. Is the league full of first timers??????

Please help me!

Not full of, but this particular guy is a first timer. Much appreciated.

Anybody in particular you think has value that matches Werth/Harden?
