Braun for Hamilton..plus more...100%WHIR!!!

Postby philaphan » Thu Apr 16, 2009 11:42 am

Alright...I had an offer from this other owner that I posted 2 nights ago that was good but he pulled it last minute. I sent him a nasty e-mail but we are still trying to get a trade done. Here is his latest offer to me:

My: Braun/Berkman/Ortiz/Danks
For
His: Hamilton/Howard/Holiday/Valverde

Am I crazy for thinking of trading Braun? My worry with him is the rib injury. He is off to a slow start but is it because of the ribs or is it simple just a slow start. I don't want to panic but I also don't want to get screwed if Braun's ribs slow him for the entire season.

Based on my roster below does this trade look good. I am giving up too much? Should I hold onto Braun and not worry? Advice Please. 100% WHIR just leave link!!!!

Here is my roster:
10 Team Head2Head 5X5
C:Posada
1b:Berkman
2b:Phillips
3b:Atkins
SS:Jeter
OF:Braun, Crawford, Ibanez
Util:Ortiz
BN: Kendrick, Beltre, Kelly Johnson, Lind
SP:Peavy, Kazmir, Grienke, Danks, C. Young
RP: Soria, B.J. Ryan
BN: Davies, Scherzer
DL: E. Santana

Here is the other managers roster...incase there are suggestions to counter his offer

Other Managers Roster:

I tend to hate big trades involving this many guys...but this seems like a pretty solid deal for you.

Seems like it is agood for me....but do you think I should hold on to Braun? Or is this deal too good to worry about losing him?

I'd make the trade easily when you're getting Holliday/Valverde for just Ortiz/Danks on the side.

As for Braun, I'd say it's the rib injury bothering him, like late last year.

i dunno how you can't say Yes to this... this is HUGE, Hamilton and Howard not to mention Holliday?!...

way i look at it:

Hamilton/Howard=Braun/Berkman (when healthy, which i also think Braun's Ribs are still hurting)
Holliday/Valverde>>Ortiz/Danks

you tie on the top end and win big on the bottom end... good trade!

help me out...
