Snider and Rasmus may net you a return in the future, but I don't think trading Upton for those 2 would help you out for at least 2 more years. Who else does he have besides Rasmus and Maybin>? I liek Snider alot :-D
I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!!

Here is my squad as I stated this is a keeper league with auction drafts, and they are added a extra $5 dollars if they are kept next season.

With my pitching staff I don't think I can compete this year, and the waiver wire is pretty bare. so I figure I would look at next season ( I know it's early) but getting potential.

no way should you trade BJ upton for any of those, Upton has potention for a 20hr 40sb season, even if you dont think you can compete now you can get better value for upton later on in the year.

bailing on this year not even 2 weeks in?! wow thats crazy man... your pitching isn't the worst thing ive seen, Lilly, Floyd, Garza, Buehrle and Young all have a legit shot of all winning 12-15+ games, Lilly and Young with the potential to K 170+ and Capps/Wilson should bank you close to if not 80+ Saves this year... your staff really is not that bad! instead why don't you look to package Adrian Gonzo/Buehrle's hot start and get you a top tier arm, your C situation is horrid, but other then that your team is really solid... don't give up not even 2 weeks in thats just terrible... oh and BJ isn't worth (money wise or not) any combo of those 3...

help me out...

I wouldn't take all three of those for Upton. Even in an 8 player keeper league, those guys shouldn't be considered keepers. Give your team a chance to compete before you give up and then I would start looking at top 50 players (which Upton is) to keep next year. Don't go after prospects that will probably take 2 years before they start really showing what they can do.

Cabrera, Upton, Garza, Bruce and Price is a nice group of keepers to start off with.

The problem with Miggy is that he cost me $42 this season and next season he will cost $47, he will probably be a late season trade for me, Upton cost $25 and will cost $30 next year if I keep him, I might hold off and wait until midseason then evaluate my team
