I feel like I have a pretty good team, but Stephen Drew was just dropped for who knows what reason, and Justin Upton was dropped because some people are just impatient. I obviously need a real catcher, but I can't really see myself dropping him and going no catcher until Wieters comes up just to get one of these guys. I hate to let them sit there, though. Thoughts? This is a 12 team, H2H, 5x5 league.

Wow that is a hard prediciment, I might look look at Furcal for Drew, which is a uograde IMO, and Francisco for Upton, Drew for sure is the one I would grab, so if you are not keen on giving up Furcal, the Francisco for Drew is good, and leaving Upton behind.
When you decide to use your 2 bench spots on minor league players (Weiters/Price) your hands are tied from day one, add the often injured Chipper, the seldom playing Shoppach, and 4 closers just makes it worse. Drop Furcal for Drew.
If this isn't a keeper league, you probably shouldn't bother with J. Upton for this season... as for Drew. Price or Wieters, in non keeper leagues rookies aren't guarantees, they just fill roster spots. I'd cut one of the two... maybe Price judging by some of the projections out there and then deal Drew when the time is right to get a real good SP. Hope you have waiver priority.
If it is a keeper league, I don't think twice about cutting or dealing Furcal or Jones. Package those two with a young pitcher and get a stud pitcher... do something to open up the roster spots and get some value back.

It's not a keeper league - I wish. I just had a great draft and got lucky picking up Wieters and Price when both were dropped by impatient owners. The guy who dropped Wieters was the same guy who dropped Upton. Oh, and it's a Yahoo league.
Thanks for the replies - at this point, thinking about dropping either Price or Frank Francisco.
