Honestly, i'd just trade Davis and Jones for Ichiro, then get someone off the waiver wire. His team doesnt have alot of good fill-in players for you, so hit up the wire and take a shot at someone. Worst case scenerio the flier you take from the waiver wire gets dropped when a-rod gets back. Hope this helps!

Davis/Jones for Ichiro would be a good trade for you as long as you know that you are only going to get 3 categories from Ichiro (despite his grand slam last night haha). If you can, try a deal including bonifacio...I worry about him being worthy of a starting spot within the next month or so.

I'm not so sure that I'd trade Davis for Suzuki straight up, much less toss in Adam Jones. I would however be looking to move Bonifacio while his value is streaking to the upper limits of reality.

yeah i dont wanna give both for ichiro i was thinking maybe lowell/ichiro for davis/jones. I just need someone to fill in for 2-3 more weeks till A Rod gets back. I realize ichiro is a 3 cat guy but im good on power and really need avg/SB guy..... i cant think of any better to target without paying a premium price

Edit: So Lowell/Ichiro was immediately rejected need another option

that might work, but at the same time with lowell just being a fill in...... it kind of comes back to it being davis/jones for ichiro. but if you feel like you can stand to lose davis' potential power then go for it.

not sure i like it for you. adam jones is breaking out and davis will at least give you some power....you lose him, you have howard and maybe nelson cruz and ortiz who have 25+ Hr capability. and papi looks awful right now. but if you want to deal, make it jones and davis for ichiro and beltre, see if he goes for that. ?
