Hurdle said yesterday that he like Barmes because of his all around defense. Plus Barmes is hitting decent enough to make the decision in the managers eyes easy. If (and I am not convinced) Barmes doesn't hit then he will definitely put Steward in. I really doesn't look like that is going to happen any time soon.

Or if/when Atkins/Helton gets hurt/traded
