Yeah nice freakin inning after letting the first 2 guys on. I think Halladay is a better strike out pitcher than his numbers show because he would rather pitch to bad contact and go 9IP than work for strike outs.

Owning Halladay really is a pleasure. He always goes deep and never ever gets destroyed. He hasn't been destroyed since June 12, 2007. Normally, if he ever has a bad start, he'll at least give you a chance to make up for it with another starter ie an ERA at 9 or less and not dig you into a ridiculous Wang sized hole in H2H matchups.

Of course, he is normally awesome like tonight. ;-)

Halladay is the best pitcher in baseball as far as i'm concerned. He proves it year in and year out. Always gives his team a chance to win.

Hal·la·day, n. 1. every fifth day in Philadelphia. 2. a day of rest for the bullpen. 3. innings eater. 4. doc. 5. ace.

Johan does the same. I do think Halladay is the second best starter in baseball though. I don't think any other aces besides those two are so impervious to the atrocious starts and keep their bad starts still manageable for their teams.
