Way too deep at 3B and OF, who do I deal?

Postby Dalingh » Wed Apr 15, 2009 11:26 pm

I feel that I am extremely deep at 1B/3B and OF. Any thoughts on who I should deal? I'm open to trading everyone except Miggy C. I'd really like to try and upgrade my SS. I feel like that is the only position that I'm weak at.

C Russell Martin (LAD - C,3B)
1B Miguel Cabrera (Det - 1B,3B)
2B Chase Utley (Phi - 2B)
3B Kevin Youkilis (Bos - 1B,3B)
SS Jhonny Peralta (Cle - SS)
OF Carl Crawford (TB - OF)
OF Matt Holliday (Oak - OF)
OF Corey Hart (Mil - OF)
Util Orlando Hudson (LAD - 2B)
BN Jordan Schafer (Atl - OF)
BN Kosuke Fukudome (ChC - OF)
BN Aubrey Huff (Bal - 1B,3B)
BN Nelson Cruz (Tex - OF)

SP Derek Lowe (Atl - SP)
RP Kerry Wood (Cle - RP)
RP Mike González (Atl - RP)
P Brad Lidge (Phi - RP)
P Heath Bell (SD - RP)
BN Frank Francisco (Tex - RP)
BN Javier Vázquez (Atl - SP)
BN Jon Lester (Bos - SP)
BN Erik Bedard (Sea - SP)
BN James Shields (TB - SP)

I play in a H2H, daily lineup league, 10 teams.

Offensive:
R, H, 2B, 3B, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, AVG

Pitching:
W, L, CG, SHO, SV, ER, HR, BB, K, ERA, WHI

huff and cruz are your guys to trade, price tag for both of them might never be higher.

I'm trying to view it differently. I'm high on Huff and Cruz this year. I think I could pull more value out of Holliday/Youkilis... or would I be crazy to deal either of those guys?

Either way, what could I feasibly pull with a Huff/Cruz combo? Reyes? Rollins?

Do you agree that I should work to improve my SS, before SP?

Drop Kosuke Fukudome. There has to be someone better on the WW with only 10 teams.

Sound advice.

Post ww (sp you have no depth here).
Drop "F...dome"

I'd try to upgrade at SS and SP anyway I could.
Youk gives you way better value at 3b. Good lineup positioning!

Ok, I dropped Fukudome. Should I drop Schafer as well? I honestly don't think I'd ever play him over any of my other OFs.

The SP WW looks like this, I'm posting the top 10.
