I offered Bay/Young/Floyd FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano. (Thanks all for the help with the initial offer.)
Guy counteroffered Bay/Marmol FOR Gomez/Chamberlain.
I know Gomez isn't the best option in the outfield with at bats being split in Minnesota, but I do like getting some speed back if I'm going to deal Bay. And overall, I also like where this is headed because I'm all for getting value for Marmol (who I drafted before Gregg was named closer).
But I'm still wondering if I can credibly try for Bay/Marmol and Young, Lowe or Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamerlain/Liriano. Or maybe even Bay/Marmol/Floyd FOR Gomez/Danks and Chamberlain or Liriano.
Should I just take what's on the table? Thoughts?

Thank you for you comment in my posting (I uploaded my roster).
For your q, I would not trade Bay/Marmol for Gomez/Chamberlain (if your league is H2H).
Bay is way better hitter than Gomez and Chamberlain is not yet an Ace. If you need a speed, I would trade Bay for more balanced player such as Tori Hunter ( you may need get better option than Hunter for Bay though). Frankly speaking, if we just focus on this season, I think you may try even Guerrerro for Bay.

Appreciate the help, man.
In dealing Bay I'm looking first and foremost to improve my pitching. I just sorta meant that assuming I'm going to deal Bay for a lesser OF in return for pitching, I might as well get speed back instead of say, Rick Ankiel.
Nevertheless, if Chamberlain isn't good enough to make the deal as it stands on the table, what's the best option that the other guy would conceivably accept?
i.e. What is most even out of this list...
Bay/Marmol FOR Gomez/Liriano
Bay/Marmol/Young FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano
Bay/Marmol/Lowe FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano
Bay/Marmol/Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano
Bay/Marmol/Floyd FOR Gomez/Liriano/Danks
Bay/Marmol/Floyd FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Danks

Just my 2 cents but:
Bay/Marmol/Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano
OR
Bay/Marmol FOR Chamberlain/Liriano (this will work only if the opposite interested in closer though).

I would have to go with Bay/Marmol/Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano one also, I really like Liriano but finding people not willing to trade him. Scherzer shoulder scares me so turning him into Joba is a win/win for me even with downgrading Bay to Gomez.

that sounds good to me.
i would not do the bay/marmol for gomez/chamberlain. you could certainly use marmol for saves if gregg continues to screw things up out there in chicago.

thats the one. I'm not the biggest fan of chamberlain, but this is the one that has equal value and gives you 2 sp for 1

and 1 for Bay/Marmol/Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano. I would not do the Gomez/Chamberlain deal.

Offered Bay/Marmol/Scherzer FOR Gomez/Chamberlain/Liriano. He countered Bay/Marmol/Young and I took that. Figured it wasn't worth squabbling over the difference between Young and Scherzer when the goal was to get two good starters for Bay.
Thanks for the help all!
