he's the real deal, no doubt. i wanted him in all my leagues, but i was too far down in draft order. i would want a pitcher in return along with quentin though. maybe you could throw in burrell and ask for one of his pitchers. just a thought.

help me out please: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=378838

straight up 1-for-1 carlos isn't enough for lincecum. timmy could get you more in a deal. i'd go after a sizemore or (if you're not worried about his strained muscle questions) a braun.

I doubt anyone would give up Sizemore or Braun.
Maybe go after a Beltran or Holliday...

I wouldn't trade Timmy right now. His value has taken a hit in first two starts, but I don't think you need to worry too much. Reports say he found flaws in his delivery while watching tape. Keep in mind that its only 2 weeks into the season. I'd give Timmy a couple starts to work things out, I do think you're selling yourself short with Quentin.

My rule of thumb is to always trade a pitcher for an everyday player of equal value. The question is is Quentin of equal value. Right now, I have to say yes. But, if Lincecum reverts to his Cy Young form of last year, then no.

So, you need to make a guess as to where Lincecum's season goes from here. If you think his value is at its highest, do the deal.

I think you could get more for Lincecum straight up. Maybe wait until he has his good start (so far he has been brutal, but he will turn it around).

Please help with mine
