10 team mixed 5x5 roto.
I had a ton of pitching to start the year, weak outfield, made some trades, got rid of Haren and Kazmir and got Bay and Dunn in the process. Now with Ichiro back and having just grabbed Dukes I have way too many outfielders. I had Maggs as a starting OF and I hated it but now that hes a 6th OF on this team, I think he's great to have. Am I getting good value here? Should I ask for more? Any position on my team I should target? (I tried to go after Brian Roberts but he's off limits).

Right idea, moving Mags for pitching, but I feel like you might be able to score a better SP than Shields. Shop around a bit.
Thoughts on mine:

Thanks for the help. Yea, I've been shopping Maggs for a couple weeks now and I really can't give him away. This kind of just fell into my lap but I also feel like Shields isn't enough. The other team really has no good pitching besides CC, Shields and 4 closers - Valverde, K-Rod, Lindstrom and Wilson. I could possibly get him to throw in a closer, but I would really only want Valverde (assuming K-Rod is off limits) and I'd have to throw in someone else. I dont know.

I wouldn't do it just yet actually... it looks like he's worse off than you for SP. pricetag for offense always goes up in June. Check my 3rd basemen trade.

Hey,
As the others have said, you can definitely get more in return for Magglio. If you got him to throw in a bonified closer that may help, since you're closer situation isn't settled, but you can definitely do better than just Shields.
Nice team by the way!

I actually think it's a good trade. Maggs doesn't have the power he used to and Shields is a pretty safe bet.He should also get you quite a few wins this year.
Help?
