http://yankees.lhblogs.com/BREAKING NEWS UPDATE, 12:55 p.m.: Nothing official yet, but the word is that Xavier Nady will need surgery and miss the season.
UPDATE, 1:47 p.m.: We just spoke to Nady. He didn’t want to say too much until he sees team doctor Chris Ahmad in NYC tomorrow. But he indicated that the MRI showed a tear and surgery will be needed.
Swisher's value just went up a lot..

i know swisher is the replacement in RF but does anyone find it odd that austin jackson was scratched from the lineup today at AAA? anyone think he was injured or he may be called up? i wouldn't see why he would be called up because swisher will just take nady's place and melky could possibly see more playing time as well. i wouldn't see why jackson would be called up to ride the pine....maybe im just reading into his scratch too much but he is the future of the yankees OF.

dropped him for Maybin, but may drop Maybin for Mora or Giambi.
I wasn't happy owning Nady anyways, so this helps, though you hate to see someone go down fot the year.

I donno what the similar topics are below for everyone else, but for me they are hilarious
"Yankees Boone may miss entire 2004 season"
"Can Jose Guillen or Garrett Anderson save my season?"

Im stuck with "Which closer for the rest of the season? Benitez or Guardado"
