I would say that is a pretty Even trade, both great young pitchers and 2 great young batters, my only thought would be who is going to stay healthier, and I think it would be lincecum and markakis. so I would go ahead and do that. I also don't think you need to add anything on to that trade. the only one of those options I would consider is option 1, but I would try without it first.
Hey thanks for the help with mine! I don't think the other guy would go for it, the dropoff between Gallardo and Lincecum too great, however you could use a solid pitcher. I would go for Adam Wainwright, he is rock solid and will help to anchor your rotation.
Man that is about as even as it gets, but I like you side of the deal you get two proven players in Lincecum and Markakis so I say do it because you really don't know how goo Gallardo is going to be. Thanks for the help on mine.
thanks for the help on mine. i'd do the trade as-is. i feel like the add-on options don't help you much, but if i had to pick one i'd go with #4 just cuz it's the least harmful.
id do it it. as studly as hamilton is, theres not going to be too big of a drop off with markakis. lincecum trumps gallardo. as for the possible add ons, i dont like any of them for you

I'm thinking the other owner might need some more incentive to make this trade. That's why I posted the possible add-ons. Would the trade be worth making if I have to add on any of the scenarios I mentioned?
I agree with everyone who has said it's pretty close to even, but unlike most, I'm going to give the nod to the Gallardo side. I expect Lincecum to regress a bit after his breakout year last year. Doesn't mean he's not still one of the best pitchers available, but I think Gallardo (who, on the other hand, I like a lot) will come closer to Lincecum's stats than many think. I'd stick with him and Hamiton.
