I think you need another closer, try trading Guthrie for a #2 closer uch as Kerry Wood, Matt Capps, or Heath Bell. Hamels will put up the same stats as those 2 combined.

i don't usually trade for closers, i'm not to worried about saves so early in the season. anyone have other thoughts on this trade? btw i'm in a h2h 3 year keeper league

This is a trade you need to accept based on talent alone if it was prop'd to you. I would even worry about it being vetoed by the league... Great buy low trade.

I dont see how the hamels owner accepts this, but if you can pull this off, great job
