lot of pitchers lately are going 7+ innings with no hitter and then losing it. Good to see a boston pitcher actually pitch a good game ;-D

I keep watching Holliday on gameday..and I see (in play runs) when a guy is on 1st..and I keep thinking wooo a hr..and it keeps turning out to be a double :-b

Was this one as close to a hr as his double from last night?

no, it was just barely off the wall and Bay actually would've caught it if he actually tried to jump.

Masterson could make a spot start, or they could send down Hunter Jones for Buccholz, Bowden or Hansack.

I just read that it'll be Masterson. Buchholz strained a hammy I guess or else he might fill the spot. I'm a big Masterson fan though, so I'm looking forward to his start. Looks like he'll start, what, Saturday against Eaton?
