My 1st year keeper league got off to a really late start so help me out because I have a draft tomorrow
I was wondering in a keeper league what does Arod's injury do for him? What round will he slide too? And if I could get him in the 2nd or 3rd round do I jump on that because one would think that Arod is good for at least 3 more years of top 3 numbers?

im struggling with trying to determine his value in my keeper league as well.
i'd say a-rod stays in the 1st round for at least 3-4 years, not dropping out of the 3rd round for another 5-6...
that said, i'd take a-rod in the 2nd (if he drops) and be very happy.

It's a 14 team league so probably there is no way he drops out of the 1st round, am I right?

hmm... well here's what i'd do...
i wouldn't take him before:
hanley, pujols, miggy, wright, reyes, sizemore, braun, utley, teixeira, or longoria (no particular order)
so if i had the 11th or lower pick i'd either snag him or gamble that he'll be there on the turn (not likely).
the beauty of drafting this late is that a-rod's value for THIS season increases every day as he gets closer to a return, so maybe it'd be a good idea to take him in the 1st.
you'll get some differing opinions and it's ultimately up to you, but that's my take. good luck!

That's very helpful thank you, also do you think BJ Upton has a chance to slide to me in the 3rd if say I get Arod on the turn or if I miss Arod would he be a good 2nd rounder?

mm, i like bj a lot as a keeper. i wouldn't expect him to get past the 2nd round though.
whether he's a good pick there depends on your first pick. if you get a good masher like a-rod or miggy or tex etc. in the first i'd consider taking him mid-late 2nd. if you end up with a reyes or rollins type i'd look for a better power hitter in that round.
it's tough projecting that far though. i'd suggest doing some mock drafts to get a feel for it.
