Hill, Theriot, and Fowler to stash on the bench would be my choices. You can't afford Giambi/Thome avg killing if you already have Dunn on board. You can probably move Carpenter to the DL soon too :-(

I like Kelly Johnson, think he's going to be pretty steady all year, showing some decent power and projects much better than Matsui. Not sure if you buy into it, but PECOTA has Johnson at .287/90/17/75 and 10+ SB. Looks like his first week is justifying that.

Aside from that, Fowler seems to be nailing down a starting job and Denard Span and Jordan Schafer appear to have already done so. Obviously Orlando Hudson is off to a killer start, but that has to plateau. I'd forget about Thome and Giambi like others have said and if it's average you're going for, I hate to even suggest it but someone finally picked up Fukudome in a league of mine this afternoon and I think he might be on to something.

Eeek, hope I didn't put you in a deeper hole there -- good luck.

Span is a easy choice. I might add Fowler if you have a chance to keep him?

I only have 6 keepers.... im pretty sure i have them already... This is my list as of today.. might change by the end of the year.
Sizemore
Morneau
Pence
Nathan
Haren
J Johnson

So I added K Johnson today to backfill for Roberts and add a little in the Util slot when hes hot. Should I drop Matsui for Span or Theriot (who would backup jeter?0
