Dice-K Sucks-K

if Dice-K or any other Boston pitcher were to go down, who would be in line to take their spot?

Buchholz or Masterson?

edit: well, just as I posted the news came out that Dice K is on the DL. Guess we'll find out soon enough who's next in line.

Should be buchh, but might be Masterson. LOL, I know that doesn't help.

Went to the game last night and I was PISSED. I wore my Seibu Lions hat to see my favorite starting pitcher (will have to reevaluate now). Dice-k gives up 5 and doesn't even come out for the second. What's more, I started him in my keeper league. My team was already last in most SP cats. THIS, I did not need. At least he's on the DL now so's I can take Scherzer off.

Dice-k is so maddening. He pitches like the ace he is in Japan league and WBC, but then he gets in a ML park and stats walking hitters left and right. I know he's good, but it's about time he figure that out and translate it to the Majors.

Fantasy perspective, obviously you stash him on the DL and let him pitch a game before you start him again.

Dice-K had a horrendous k/bb ratio last season, his decent (lucky) ERA masked the dangerous peripherals... steered clear of him in all my drafts as a result.
