What to make of this?

Postby shoelessjoetara » Tue Apr 14, 2009 8:00 pm

I am in a 14 team mixed roto league. Towards the end of the draft it is hard to find players that can produce and help your team. I was looking at my team and all of my starters except 3 are owned in 90% or above. I know this doesn't mean that my team should win but does it mean that the players I have are more likely to produce and help my team. Most of the teams that I looked at had about 11-12 players owned at about 90% or above. I am up to 15 with the other 3 at 80% up to 89%. Would ya'll say that I have more quality players. I look at this as a positive if anything.

It just means that the players are more popular, this does not guarantee on field production. On paper it looks nice to see that your guys are 90% owned, however its only valuable information if it can translate into solid fantasy stats. There are players that might only be 30% owned, these players could easily have a better year than someone who is 80-90% owned, it all depends.
